# About us
Where curiosity becomes a STEAM experience
EDUnet SPACE was born from the desire to turn non-formal education into unforgettable experiences. Inspired by major science museums across Europe, EDUnet SPACE offers a modern approach to learning, built on curiosity, interaction, experimentation, and exploration.
With 250 sqm, EDUnet SPACE is open to children, teens, and adults who want to explore science in a practical and accessible way. EDUnet SPACE means experiments, hands-on workshops, demonstrations, and activities that make knowledge come alive.
It is the only multifunctional space dedicated to STEAM in Oltenia. EDUnet SPACE is suitable for individual visits, school groups, families, teachers, educational events, and corporate activities.

EDUnet Space visit – guided tour
On the guided tour, visitors explore interactive areas dedicated to anatomy, biology, astronomy, physics, music, mathematics, and technology. They discover the human body through 3D models and augmented reality, experiment with scientific phenomena, test musical instruments, solve logic games, and interact with educational robots.
The visit includes activities about the environment and sustainability, educational games, and interactive projections that explain ecosystems, climate, and human impact on nature. The tour is age-adapted and suitable for both individual visitors and organized groups (schools, kindergartens, NGOs, companies), combining the guide's explanations with hands-on exploration.
Visitors can also opt for a VR experience in different fields, depending on their interests.

Workshop
STEAM Experiment Workshops
STEAM workshops are interactive activities for children aged 5 to 10, where they directly experience concepts from biology, physics, chemistry, and optics. Through hands-on experiments, observations, and interactive games, children discover how the world around them works, in a clear, age-appropriate way.
Each workshop lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes and is led by facilitators who explain in child-friendly language and supervise the activities. Parents can wait in the ground-floor waiting room during the workshop. Children can participate only with consent from a parent or legal guardian (consent can be signed here).
(4 workshops/month)
Workshop
LEGO START Workshops
The LEGO START workshop is a hands-on activity where children build and program robots using LEGO pieces, motors, and sensors. During the workshop, participants learn how a robot works, the role of sensors, and how movement can be controlled through different commands.
Children work in small teams, build functional models, and program them using an intuitive app. The activity develops logical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
